We have utilized new technologies to pull together our internal and external communications enabling us to enter the realm of real-time performance management.

Through the use of wireless handheld computers, printers and scanners, we merge our shop floor and office administrative functions, pulling them together from the first point of contact.

This has eliminated administrative handling and queue times reducing these activities from days to minutes.

On the shop floor what we call “Work Movement” is a wireless web enabled system and our latest development to track work in process as it progresses through the shop. The material and work order are scanned to the machine specific work queues and planned vs. actual progress is recorded.
